SBBiotec has five categories of members: Full Member, Aspirant (Undergraduate/Postgraduate), Institutional Member, Honorary Member and Honorary Member.

How to join?

Individuals interested in becoming a Full Member or Aspiring Member must fill out the registration form . This form will be evaluated by the Board of Directors and the candidate will receive a response via registered email regarding their approval, with the payment slip for the annual fee and other necessary information. SBBiotec may, at any time, request proof of the information provided in the membership registration form and in cases of identification of false information or fraud, the membership may be cancelled.

Institutions interested in becoming an Institutional Associate must write directly to the SBBiotec Board of Directors ( sbbiotec@sbbiotec.org.br ).

The nomination of a natural or legal person as a Honorary Member is carried out by decision of the Board of Directors, based on a proposal by the Board of Directors or the Board itself, or a proposal submitted by at least twenty active members.

The nomination of an individual as Honorary Member is carried out by decision of the Board of Directors, based on a proposal by the Board of Directors, based on an analysis of the candidate's scientific activity.
