8th International Workshop on Grapevine Trunk Diseases
The workshop, organized jointly with International Council on Grapevine Trunk Diseases (ICGTD) and the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia with the support of the International Society for Plant Pathology (ISPP) and of the Mediterranean Phytopathological Union (MPU), will dedicate special attention to the Etiology, Epidemiology and Control of Grapevine Trunk Diseases such as Esca and Petri disease, and those caused by Diatrypaceae spp., Botryosphaeriaceae spp., Cylindrocarpon spp. and related pathogens. The workshop, held every two years, provides a very good opportunity to receive up-todate information on grapevine trunk diseases. A general overview of the results so far obtained on various aspects of trunk diseases will be presented by different lecturers.

corresponding author must be indicated as in the example below. Please
underline the name of the presenting author.

The abstract itself should not exceed 250 words. It should not include
subheadings, Tables, Figures or references and preferably should be written as
one paragraph. Spelling and grammar should conform to standard British-
English usage. Authors are requested to have the abstracts properly revised if
necessary. Indicate your preferred form of presentation (oral/poster).
Abstracts must be sent to the Secretarial Office and only electronic
submissions will be accepted (congresos.valencia@viajeseci.es).
